ECOO-G Processless (process-free)
Introducing the ECOO-G Thermal Plate – Eco-Friendly, Processless Printing Solution
Runs directly on press after CTP exposure, no chemical processing required.
Reduces costs for labor, water treatment, and developer tank maintenance.
100% chemical-free and environmentally friendly, comparable to Sonora XP and Agfa Azura plates.

Key Characteristics
Employs a negative non-ablation photosensitive system.
Fully compatible with all major market devices.
Enables direct on-press printing after thermal CTP plate exposure, with no additional processing required.
Delivers excellent dot reproduction, stable performance, and wide processing latitude.
Maintains long latent image stability, allowing plates to be stored for at least one week after imaging.
Constructed with a high-quality aluminum substrate and professional coating for superior durability and print quality.
Recommended Application Procedure for ECOO-G
Clean the blanket thoroughly – Ensure that all residual ink is completely removed from the blanket to prevent contamination and achieve optimal print quality.
Engage the water roller – Start the press machine and run the water roller for 30–40 seconds to properly moisten the plate and prepare it for inking.
Engage the ink rollers – Allow the ink rollers to run for 20–30 seconds to ensure even ink distribution across the plate before printing.
Load the paper and start printing – Once the plate is properly prepared and rollers are engaged, load the paper and commence printing for consistent, high-quality results.

Advantages of Processless CTP Plates
Processless plates (also known as chemistry-free or processor-free plates) are imaging plates that do not require a traditional development step with chemical processors after being exposed by the CTP unit.
The main advantages are:
Reduction of Chemical Use: Eliminates the purchase, storage, and disposal of developer and finisher chemicals.
No Hazardous Waste: There are no toxic chemical effluents to treat or dispose of, significantly reducing the printer's environmental footprint.
Improved Workplace Safety: Creates a safer and more pleasant working environment by removing operators' exposure to chemical fumes and irritants.
Elimination of Chemistry Costs: Saves ongoing costs for purchasing developers, replenishers, and finishers.
Reduced Maintenance Costs: No need to maintain, clean, and service a chemical processor and its associated parts (rollers, filters, heaters).
Lower Utility Consumption: Saves on the water and electricity required to run a processor 24/7.
Streamlined Workflow: The platemaking process is faster and simpler: expose the plate in the CTP, then it's ready for the press. There is no waiting for a processor to cycle.
Consistent Quality: Eliminates variables associated with chemical processing, such as developer exhaustion, temperature fluctuations, and contamination. This leads to more consistent dot reproduction from the first plate to the last.
Faster Job Turnaround: Ideal for quick turnaround jobs, as the time from file to press is significantly reduced.
No Processor Downtime: Removes the risk of production halts due to processor mechanical failures or chemical issues.
Simplified Consumables Management: The supply chain is simplified—you only need to manage the plates themselves, not multiple chemical parts.
Daylight Operation: Many processless plates can be handled in yellow or orange safe-light conditions, reducing the need for complete darkroom facilities.
