Product Description

Non-ablation Thermal Negative CTP Offset Printing Plate

Characteristics

ECOO-G utilizes an advanced double-layer coating architecture designed for optimal on-press performance:

  • Emulsion Layer:
Engineered with strong hydrophobic properties, the emulsion layer remains intact without dissolving into the fountain solution. This ensures superior image stability, consistent dot integrity, and excellent resolution throughout the print run.

  • Protective Layer:
Formulated with high water solubility, the protective layer rapidly dissolves upon contact with the fountain solution during the start-up phase. This enables fast and clean removal without contaminating the system, minimizing waste, and reducing make-ready time.

This layered structure ensures a smooth transition from imaging to printing, enhances press efficiency, and delivers stable, high-quality print results across long production runs.

Note:
Increasing the exposure energy enhances image contrast and improves plate run length. However, excessively high or low exposure energy may adversely affect image quality.

Application

EcooGraphix ECOO-G is an advanced, environmentally friendly Development On Press (DOP) CTP plate. After imaging, it can be directly mounted onto the press without the need for chemical processing, significantly streamlining prepress operations and reducing environmental impact.

Recommended Press Start-up Procedure for ECOO-G:

  1. Thoroughly clean any residual ink from the blanket.

  2. Start the press and engage the dampening (water) rollers, running for 30–40 seconds to initiate plate development.

  3. Engage the ink rollers and continue running for an additional 20–30 seconds.

  4. Feed the paper and commence printing.

Note:
Extending the time in steps 2 and 3 can further reduce paper waste during start-up, enhancing overall production efficiency.
